The Domino Act is an artistic reinterpretation of the Sustainability Domino Act dogma: a celebration of how one decision in one area can have a positive effect / impact in another, and an ode to the importance of acting together against Climate Change – an evocative representation of the role of progress within Circular Economy, hence the name The Domino Act.
The installation wants to highlight the importance of placing human values in the center of everything, as metaphorically represented by the Audi pavilion hosting the Audi skysphere concept car, standing in the center of the Monoliths circle – It showcases the vision of the Brand of premium mobility of tomorrow and recalls Audi’s revolutionary approach of designing cars from the inside out perspective and around human values, wishes and needs, and not just as a separate entity.
Our approach in designing the Domino Act installation, reflected this humanistic and sustainable approach and concept of circular design, by using recyclable materials. Additionally, the reflective surfaces of the monoliths that were integral for the installation, created a multiplying effect of people and of the surrounding greenery, subtly yet constantly reminding the visitors that acting together is much more effective than acting alone, and that the progress towards a more sustainable world can start from you. Their reflections showed something unseen, a new view on what is there – the starting point for every kind of progress.
