Gabriele
Chiave

Co-Founder and Creative Director

Currently residing in New York, Gabriele Chiave brings a global perspective to design from living in cities like Metz, Dakar, Caracas, Buenos Aires, Rome, Milan, and Amsterdam. Inspired by Italian design masters, he joined Marcel Wanders Studio in Amsterdam in 2007, evolving from a product designer to Creative Director. Gabriele has worked on product and interior design, and art direction for renowned brands like Kartell, Poliform, Flos, and others. Today, he serves as VP, Global Creative Direction – Design & Innovation for the Estée Lauder Companies.

Verdiana
Vannini

Co-Founder and Managing Director

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Design from Politecnico di Milano, Verdiana pursued her passion for design management in London, obtaining a Master's in Design Studies with Merit from Central Saint Martins. Her career in London included roles at Apple and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, as well as work with creative studios, agencies, and galleries, managing projects in interior design, branding, and art direction globally. In 2017, she became Design Manager at Marcel Wanders studio in Amsterdam, leading a diverse team and over 40 projects. She enhanced her skills with business and management certificates from LSE and Oxford. In 2022, Verdiana co-founded Controvento and continues to consult in management for the creative industries.

Driven by curiosity, technical expertise, and creative vision, we honor brand heritages, shape transformative projects, and craft compelling narratives—elevating legacies while envisioning bold futures.
