The Peekasit Journey project encompass exclusive editions of Controvento’s Peekasit armchair that is inspired by Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo bag.

The project takes the name of a specific chosen metropolitan city and captures its essence and spirit in the Peekasit design. The journey started in Milan, followed by Los Angeles, Shanghai, Miami, Seoul, and more cities are coming! Each Peekasit armchair embodies an experience to be lived, destined to become a piece to be cherished and passed down to future generations, just like the timeless Peekaboo bag.

The first stop of the Peekasit Journey is Milan with its refined and distinguished sense of design.

To affirm its Italian roots, the first exclusive Peekasit model was revealed at the Fendi Casa flagship store during Milan fashion week 2023 S/S. The Peekasit Milan Edition is framed by handmade threading. A tribute to this traditional artisan technique and to Fendi’s mastery in leather processing and accessories. Soft nubuck leather envelops the exclusive seat ensuring a feeling of absolute comfort. This is how colors and materials blend and create a warm and elegant contrast, celebrating the meeting between Peekasit and Peekaboo.

The Peekasit Journey has made its way to the sophisticated and glamorous Los Angeles city.

This unique edition showcases the vibrant essence of the city through the innovative use of soft and lightweight materials such as raffia and linen. In natural shades and materials, the seat features dark leather profiles to create a sinuous contrast. The result: a sophisticated seat where a combination of refined materials and craftsmanship is enhanced. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of the Fendi Peekaboo bag, our Peekasit design pays homage to the craftsmanship of the iconic Maison.

After Milan and Los Angeles, the Peekasit Journey also landed in the cosmopolitan modernity of Shanghai.

Recreating the FF jacquard pattern, the Peekasit Shanghai Edition is extremely soft and comfortable thanks to precious and refined materials. The Peekasit armchair is presented in FF jacquard tonka colored velvet and has an outer shell in ivory-colored soft shearling with contrasting thread. The quality of the materials and the elegance of its lines make the seat an expression of the Maison's spirit.

Marking Art Basel 2023, the Peekasit Journey landed in the irresistible and charming Miami with a special version of Controvento’s Peekasit armchair.

The Peekasit Miami Edition leaves an unforgettable mark with precious details and sophisticated contrasts between lines and volumes. With its woven raffia, FENDI yellow leather trims, and linen cushioning, the values of traditional craftsmanship are blended with the most innovative technologies.

The Peekasit Journey lands in Seoul with a particularly striking edition that reinforces the powerful connection between fashion and luxury design.

The Peekasit Seoul Edition was produced with the motif of the gazelle material, which was introduced during Fendi’s 2014/2015 F/W collection. The trapezoidal silhouette that symbolizes the Peekaboo bag, the spacious linen cushion and the outer shell decorated with luxurious gazelle fur, express the powerful and deeply rooted connection between fashion and luxury design, which is characterizing for Fendi.
