Gabriele Chiave, Founder and Creative Director of Controvento, has been appointed Jury Member for the 2026 edition of the Dutch Design Awards. As part of the jury Gabriele will contribute to the selection and evaluation of projects that represent some of the most relevant expressions of contemporary design. The awards highlight innovation, creativity and impact across disciplines, celebrating work that shapes the future of the design landscape.

His appointment reflects a continued engagement with the international design community and a perspective shaped by years of experience across product design, branding and creative direction.The Dutch Design Awards jury brings together leading voices from different fields to identify projects that push boundaries and redefine the role of design today. The final stage of the program will take place during the Dutch Design Week (17–25 October 2026, Eindhoven), where the awarded projects will be presented and celebrated.

Gabriele’s participation reinforces Controvento’s ongoing dialogue with the global design scene and its commitment to exploring new ideas, perspectives and cultural exchanges.
