Once again, the most important moment of the year for Controvento has arrived.
MDW26 marked a meaningful chapter for the studio, led by the creative direction of Gabriele Chiave and the business vision of Verdiana Vannini. This year, Controvento presented a series of projects developed in Milan through months of research, dialogue, and continuous design development together with exceptional partners and collaborators.
The projects presented during Milan Design Week 2026 include Peekachill and the Blow-up Bed for Fendi Casa, Zénith Nomade for Baccarat, Alma Vela and Alma XL for Contardi, Botanica and Mineralia for Illulian, Distressed Rugs and Acid Majolica for Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica, Still Mirror for FIAM Italia, and Diesel Baggy Bed and Diesel Baggy Tables for Diesel Living with Moroso.
Each project comes from a different conversation around material, process, and intention. What connects them is a shared approach built on time, exchange, and close collaboration between teams, brands, and artisans. Milan Design Week is never only about presenting outcomes. It is about the people behind them, the trust that makes them possible, and the collective effort that brings ideas to life. We are deeply grateful to all the partners, teams, and collaborators who made this journey possible.
